## **This is Morrowind!**

Before proceeding further, take a look at the `warnings.txt` and `MWSE.log` files in your Morrowind folder. These files can help you identify any issues that may arise during gameplay, and it's good to have a clear understanding of what a healthy Morrowind looks like. Please note that the warnings listed in the `warnings.txt` now can be safely ignored.

{% hint style="success" %}
This is where you stop for the vanilla experience. At this point, you could play a vanilla Morrowind with distant land and better water, and relatively bug-free gameplay, \*almost\* the way Todd intended.

Moving forward, keep the following 3 things in mind:

* install in the order of this guide. Many conflicts (for example similar textures) are fixed this way, by installing one after the other (i.e making it win the conflict)
* Unless the mod is a BAIN archive (where you tick options), always go for "manual" so you can see what you are installing.
* I use ✨ for mods that you should install because they interact with other mods and not having them would break the modlist. Other than those...
* **If you don't like the mod, skip it**. I often suggest alternatives but to be honest, once you have Intelligent Texutres of Morrowind Enhanced Texture installed, most graphic replacers are almost redundant, just fancier.
